I think T. cacoeciae is preferable to T. platneri to control the codling moth in Europe or central Asia. It is not necessary to introduce American species.

I think T. chilonis is working well in south Asia and adjoining areas against pests of apple

T. chilonis is a common species in East Asia, but not in central Asia. I do not think it is the best species to control the Codling moth. Introductions are easy, but they are not the best means to mass releases of parasitoids and control pests each year.

You can purchase it from Pakistan as well as India. however, the success of T. chilonis against the pest of apple is still not evaluated that need further research to conduct to find out effectiveness of paranoids against the specific pest of apple. however in South Asia the same parasitoid is very effective against the common lepidopteran pests of vegetables and crops.
