I would like to do the analysis about random regression in ASReml 4.1.
There are 4 seasons in my data, so I want to see the changes of heritability in it.
The model I wrote is:
trait1 !sigmap ~ mu HYS parity !r id(pe) str(animal season.animal us(4).id(animal))!GU !f mv
and the results showed a variance component about additive and the 4x4 matrix in different season.
Base on the random regression theory, I would like to find the covariance between additive variance and season*additive terms. But, there is no value between them.
Somehow, there is something wrong in it, and I can't get the heritability between different seasons.
Could somebody give me some suggestion?
