Could anyone suggest some literature on the reaction course and kinetics of total hydroxycinnamic derivatives measurement?

The procedure of the total hydroxycinnamic content measurement in a stock solution obtained as a result of powdered drug (Rosmarinus officinalis) boiling in a water bath, requires a mixture of stock solution with hydrochloric acid, sodium nitrite, sodium molybdate, and sodium hydroxide. Could anyone, please, suggest some literature, surveys on the reaction course and kinetics?

I did a quick search of the reaction/determination procedure and found an old paper that does not give explicit kinetics data but could serve as a good starting point from where to continue your search. The discussion part of the paper is the most informative.
