Naman, I 'd like to hep you but your question is too broad. What do you exactly mean by management research? I have applied logistic regression to consumer demand estimation by eliciting preferences via stated preference exercises in the field of transport, health, tourism, environmental sustainability and fair trade. If you clarify your research intentions I might be able to help you.
Edoardo Sir, i am currently working on Workplace deviance so am interested in studying various employee behavior in their workplace setting. I then intent to establish relationship between these deviant behavior (of employees) with social learning behaviors. this way i would like to measure the impact of social learning variables in certain deviant behaviors of employees.
Naman if this is your research interest one thing I could suggest is to develop a choice experiment where you use the attributes you immagine that would , most likely, influence the choice of adopting a deviant behavior (both positive - e.g. reduced effort - and negative - e.g. punishment if fought deviating-) and administer to a sample of possibly interested agents, acquire their socio economic characteristics and use this to estimate a logic model to calculate the probability of deviance given the level of the attributes you have considered and possibly correlate this to the socio-economic characteristics of the sample.
For the application of a logit model, the dependent variable must be a categorical variable. If you have dichotomy in the DV, then apply simple Logit model and if you have multiple categories in the DV, then multinominal logistic regression will be applicable.
