I am looking for a sample of physiological data with ECG and Impedance Cardiography recordings (dZ/dt) suitable to calculate pre-ejection period in human subjects. I would greatly appraciate if you might provide me with a file in .edf or .adicht (LabChart) format. BTW, has anyone ever used PowerLab with any third-party ICG hardware? I would welcome your feedback.

Got lots of this, I can probably get it into .adicht for you.
(We use the VU-AMS, which collects both ECG/ICG. Seeing as the coordination between the two signals is key, I would be hesitant about a third party hardware solution. Biopac apparently have good ICG hardware.
That being said, there generally is a way to coordinate a signal from almost anything into an ADI box.)

I have studied many patients with ICG. Are you just interested in doing a PEP measurement first hand as a learning experience or are you interested in PEP data for a variety of conditions? Attached is a paper with samples of dZ/dt waveforms. Figure 2 shows the relationship between ECG and ICG waveforms. The B Point is aortic valve opening. Figure 3 shows just dZ/dt waveforms for a normal patient and a patient with moderate heart failure. The left edge of the frame coincides with the peak of the R Wave of the ECG. If you accept the definition of PEP as the time interval from the peak of the R Wave to the B Point, then PEP is the time interval from the left edge of the frame to the B Point. I cannot send to you the raw signal files, but I can share the PEP measurements.

I found your message recently. I have very many recordings, patients and healthy volunteers, all made by our home designed and build impedance equipment, AD-converted by a Powerlab and stored on a computer by Chart v5 in *.adicht format. We published several papers (see my record) on timing in which we prefer the Initial Systolic Time Interval above the PEP. The determination of the Q-point, but especially B-point is difficult. Moreover, nobody knows what the position of the "B-point" should be and different definitions are circulating.
