I wanted to correlate the experimental solubility data using PR EoS. Anyone please the me the procedure. I am bit confused here. Looking for a clear cut answer for finishing it. Thank you.
I can help you but I am afraid to need more information.
1) If I understand properly you work on a binary system.
2) Consequently you need to fit the so-called k12 (binary interaction parameters).
3) if you have a software which works with the PR EoS, you just need to define an objective function (e.g. OF=ABS(calculated solubility - experimental solubility)2 and to find k12 which minimizes this function.
If you don't have a software for to minimize the objective function, as suggested by professor Jean-Noël, I indicate the use of the XSEOS (a supplement for the MS Excel). This tool was created by professor Marcelo Castier of the Texas A&M University at Qatar. XSEOS is a useful tool for problems of small and medium complexity,
