I am a person from non-Bioinformatics background and I am going to analyze whole genome bisulphite sequencing data. As of now, I am trying to do that using different bioinformatics pipelines and just following the commands. But to be confident enough, I need to learn from the basics. The Rosalind project might be interesting for you. The site offers a large number of excercises which starts out quite easy but gradually become more challenging. The example solutions are typically given in Python but I believe that you can solve the problems in any language.
