A SciFinder search for the second compound with the CAS number 159690-08-1 revealed that this compound has been described in the same paper published in Phytochemistry(1995), 38(6), 1441-3. Thus there is in fact only one article available in the previous literature in which the two sesquiterpene lactones are reported.
