My thought is that giving MORE information about your methodology would show that you have planned your proposed study carefully, and that may give you a higher chance of success. But review the instructions you have been given in detail, to ensure that you are doing what they want.

It usually depends on what the funding organization requests. Most common is to present the research design and the reasons for choosing that particular design, including the method(s) of data collection referring to other similar studies.
Anyway follow carefully the instructions as far as available.
You could include the design of your experiment, including description of the manipulations and scenarios, number of planned valid responses to be collected for each scenario, and the proposed analysis method.
