I am doing corrosion studies of Mg based alloys using electro-chemical noise (ECN) measurement technique. But I do not know, how to place the two working electrodes in the electro-chemical cell. Is the distance between the two working electrodes matters during the ECN studies?
The distance between the two WEs is not a matter the matter is the distances symmetry between RE and WEs. So holding this symmetry is necessarily to minimize the error resulted from using a noisy RE. Please consider the symmetry parameters between WEs as identical surface area, and identical surface condition.
