I'm using a ML9400 MEIJI microscope in reflected light for optical interpretation of some plates with ore minerals (especially sulphosalts). I have a big question: in cross-polarized light I have two distinct anisotropism (see my attachment) when an adjusting knob is moved slightly (see page seven from ML9400 manual - http://www.meijitechno.co.uk/downloads/brochure-manuals/ml9400_manual.pdf). Which photo is more "correct" for the comparison/interpretation point-of-view?
