I am new to working with adenovirus vectors and looking for best ways to generate a vector encoding my protein of interest and transduce primary neuronal cultures with these. I found that many recent papers have used Gateway cloning strategy for cloning. The AdenoX-system from Clontech also seems like a good strategy. Both of these cost over a $1000 just to get the plasmids. What strategy have you had best luck with? I would greatly appreciate if you could share a protocol for adenovirus production as well.
