In simulating condensers in aspen EDR, condenser weight could be calculated in "Mechanical Model"
while, there is another calculated weight in TEMA sheet (Shell and tube model), that is much greater than previous one (Mechanical model)
what are the differences between of them?

I have designed and tested large air-cooled condensers. I have details for several designs, which are proprietary so I can't give them to you other than piecemeal and redacted. I don't know why anyone would use Aspen for any part of this process. Various TEMA documents would be helpful. I should think TEMA estimates for weight would be far preferable to anything you might get from Aspen. Aspen is a useful tool for modeling some systems, but not this one. There are several large manufacturers of such devices. These will often provide some information if they think there's any chance you might buy one. What is your purpose in this? I wouldn't recommend designing one yourself. Were you wanting to evaluate an existing design or compare designs from several manufacturers? I can readily explain how to do that effectively.

I work in an engineering department and our company designs and manufactures condensers.what's the problem with ASPEN EDR in designing condensers?! its general results always make sense. but in calculating the final weight, it's confusing.
