There might be a chance for Captain Marvel or Shazam (DC Superhero figure - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Marvel_(DC_Comics)) background story, even if not intentionally, to be related to the Hebrew Bible more than we are able to understand. Firstly, Shazam’s sworn enemy, Black Adam, may resemble Adam, Eve’s husband and first ever human being to be created, in the book of Genesis. Just as the wizard chose Black Adam to be this world’s protector, realizing then the extent of his mistake, God chose Adam to inherit the Garden of Eden more than 5,000 years ago. Excited to be entrusted with this ethereal gift, both Black Adam and Adam had decided to take advantage of the faith that they have been granted, ultimately betraying by a horrible demonstration of ungratefulness. Having been not only unaware of the consequences but also having a very weak character (thus falling victim to the 7 deadly sins), Adam inflicted ineffable, apocalyptic havoc, whose implications’ magnitude will have been affecting past, present and future generations for almost 6,000 years by the end of this century, on mankind, similarly as it is told in the DC Universe. Secondly, it is also told in the story that after the wizard was crushed to death by a giant granite rock falling on him, Billy/Captain Marvel/Shazam can summon his ghost for guidance by lighting a special brazier in Shazam's lair (the Rock of Eternity). The brazier (a special shovel for heating charcoal) was one of the tools for Korban (קרבן in Hebrew) sacrificing at The Temple of Jerusalem on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem, according to the Hebrew Bible, Jeremiah 36: 22-23.
