I have used bead homogenizer on human myometrium tissues and successfully Co-IPed my targets of interest. I even extracted cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions post homogenization and did Co-IP on them. You just need to make sure that your samples are processed on ice and lysis buffer must include protease inhibitors and phosphatase inhibitors (if you need to preserve phosphorylations).
