Your study area "Central Africa" isn't very clear here because there are two types of Central Africa. The Geopolitical Central Africa made of 6 countries and the Geographical Central Africa made of about 13 countries. I believe a map of the study area would have done the magic.
Otherwise, these are interesting and mind boggling findings you got there. Kudos!
