How can we classify resistant starch, as soluble or an insoluble fraction? Because according to its characteristics, both functions it has. Also in terms of health affects, it both demostrates the benefits of soluble and insoluble dietary fibers. And in the literature there are ironic and confusing information which in some sources it's been classified as a soluble, while in others it is classified as insoluble. Thanks for any information!
