Circulating tumor cells and paradoxal outcome/Had you ever seen it?

Higher CTCs counts are directly related to relapse and worse survival in many tumor. I had recently followed a group of breast cancer patients were CTCs counts less than 1 were related to worse survival. Had anyone already seen it?
