A 43 years old patient presents squamous carcinoma IN SITU from vaginal cupola and HPV signals post-total abdominal hysterectomy due to NIC III performed more than 10 years ago. Witch would be the better treatment option for?
About if cervical cancer had been identified in surgical specimen I think so but I can't be right once the patient just arrived to us now with the vaginal lesion.
If the lesion is in the vagina then the extension of the lesion should be assesed clinically by doing good per vaginal Examination under Anasthesia.CT SCAN give the idea of the extent of the lesion and lymph node involement.biopsy of the lesion proves of malignancy i think Radiotherapy with chemotherapy would be an better option of treating this condition.
