Cells HeLa grow in DMEM culture medium, 10% serum fetal bovine, 5% CO2 y 37ºC but grow is very very slow, i see a lot of black dots in and out of the cells, the dots dont are bacteria, i took a sample and put in a medium and nothing grew.
I saw the same case whit other cells.

Someone can tell me what happen whit the cells and what i could do to solve this problem, is a problem?

sometimes we have such effects in our cell culture as well. It is mostly a sign that the cells are dying. They start to grow very slowly and in the end we discard them, make complete new media and thaw a new vial of the cells.
Do you know the passage number of your cells? the higher the passage number the more such a state of the cells occur.

It could be a mycoplasma contamination. You can try to check the cells for this contamination using mycoplasma detection kits (by PCR ) that are commercially available.
