Cell pellet not dissolving in TRI reagent?

Pellet of single cell suspension of mouse splenocyte is not dissolving in TRI reagent even after vigorous vortexing, rather it has formed a tight mass.Earlier it used to, but this time it did not.Any reasoning for such phenomenon?
