I am looking to characterize some anti-VEGFR antibodies. Looking for cell lines, besides HUVEC, maybe tumor cell lines, possibly expressing all VEGF receptors or at least VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 for doing some cell binding and angiogenesis assays.

Expression of VEGF in different cancers
Most of the the cancer cell lines express VEGF. These include breast cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, colon cancer, urinary bladder cancer, ovarian cancers, and brain tumors, to list a few (1-7). VEGF has been targeted in the treatment of cancers.

Muhammad, elevated VEGF levels are related to ischemic damage, not a biomarker of the acute event, but rather to its prognosis, and have to do with both a poor long-term recovery outcome and the presence of vascular dementia. In relation to brain cancers, does it have more to do with brain damage and ischemia?
