Hello Everyone,

I am trying to grow Squalus acanthias cells in vitro, however I dont know what standard protocol to follow. Every protocol I looked on forums and google scholar uses such complex media preparations where I do not have half of the reagents.

I have the following reagents:

1. L-15 with some factors

2. DMEM

3.MEM

4. RPMI

5.Growth serum

now I dont know which media to use which can give me first cells in standard amount of time. I have worked with Actinopterygii but never with Chondrichthyes.

I generally use the standard L-15 and it works well with the class I work. But how can I start with the sharks? If anyone knows please let me know. I am trying to cell culture from critically endangered species so I need some heads up before I start.
