Can anyone recommend an antibody suitable for detection of CaSR (Extracellular calcium-sensing receptor) by Western blot in rat tissue. I am currently performing experiments with rat MSCs primed to undergo osteogenic diferentiation. So far I have only been successful in demonstrating proper differentiation by IHC and RT-PCR, but have failed to get useful results by WB.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I recommend a free antibody database available at labome.com. For antibodies to CaSR for WB, you can follow this link: https://www.labome.com/review/gene/human/calcium-sensing-receptor-antibody.html. Invitrogen has mouse monoclonal (5C10, ADD) MA1-934 used in western blot on rat samples at 1:200 (Guo et al., Hypertens Res. 2014) and rabbit polyclonal PA1-934A (according to Invitrogen, possibly suitable for WB on rat samples). In addition, Santa Cruz Biotechnology has mouse monoclonal (6D4) sc-47741 (according to the company, this ab is possibly suitable for WB on rat samples).
