As part of my cancer cell bio class, I have to expand on past research and come up with experiments to test a hypothesis. In class we discussed BCL-2 (BCL-xL) and Bax, and how their interaction is argued, so I thought this would be a good topic to expand on.
I have found papers discussing the rheostat theory, and retrotranslocation of Bax that sound very interesting, but I am still having a hard time of building on the current research and coming up with my own hypothesis/experiments to test this.
Does anybody have any ideas/knowledge on current research in this area they could share with me? Current papers that lay a path for future research would be nice, but also maybe just some ideas. Thank you!
or in other words, what studies could I do to test the interaction between Bax/Bak in a normal and cancerous cell
