I am trying to find out the susceptible and resistant varieties of pepper to the whitefly, Bemisia tabaci B biotype. I already have the resistant varieties but not the susceptible varieties yet. So I am trying to get pepper varieties with less mortality to whitefly.
In India except a few highly resistant varieties almost all other cultivars are susceptible to white flies carrying leaf curl virus causing Leaf Curl Disease (LCD). Some of the important cultivars of western arid Rajasthan in India like Mathania Red; Haripur-Raipur; Mehsana and Mandoria or HC-1 are varyingly susceptible to LCD.
Thank you Mr. Arun Kumar for your precise response. Actually, right now I am doing research in China and here insight greenhouse has also infestation of whiteflies in pepper plants but this is due to Q biotype. Whereas I am trying to find out for B biotype of Bemisia tabaci.
Mr. M. Mostafizur Rahman Shah if you with Prof. Gong in college of Horticulture, may be he will tell you about that because he and his research group is working on pepper.

Mr. Rahman Shah. You could read my paper Firdaus et al 2011. "Identification of silverleaf whitefly resistance in pepper" in The Journal of Plant Breeding. The paper tells about the resistance level and factors of various pepper accession towards B-Biotype Bemisia tabaci. Hope you find it and good luck with your research.
