Please suggest me how to do DLS study of CoFe2O4 nano-particles synthesized by co-precipitation method for their size distribution (a good reference is also OK).
Also , i was bit confused by your question , are you asking the operation procedure for handling DLS instrument for your sample OR is this about the sample analysis method ..... in case of co-precipitation , the sample will be in suspended solids [ say micro to nano range ] ..... simple suggestion is dilute the sample as much possible until the settling of your particles in not visible for naked eyes [ or even you can check simple by use a laser by Tyndall effect ] agglomeration might affect the sample's original size and results in larger particle size DLS output. For DLS measurement, you should first prepare a solution of your nanoparticles. Then vortex the solution very well and centrifuge for a while, to remove big particles/or aggregates. The solution should not be very concentrated.
