I wanted to know how to apply boundary when using a unit cell as a complete structure, like a array of cells as a meta surface layer in a patch antenna.

Dear Varma, for fss and His , the better is to simulate not unit cell, but periodically assignment under or over antenna. We have many applications about all. Our team can help you on fabrication and measurements , if you chose fr4 at simulations regarding to our university rules.

Besides I suggest free space conditions in simulations.

Hi, I offer you to read my paper entitled "
