I am currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting (PGDPA) at Amity University. It is a bridge course that will qualify me to write CPA exam.
As part of my final term for the PGDPA course, I have to submit a project work on Accounting Research. Any help would be appreciated. If you can be my Project guide that would be ideal.

I am a doctoral supervisor and I agree with Ajay post.
Basically this is a thesis or dissertation project. It is applied. I wrote a research design methods textbook which helped many scholars (https://www.palgrave.com/us/book/9781137379924 ), and I have successfully supervised 1000+ students.
First try to find a topic related to accounting, CPA, and something you think happens at your workplace or in contexts where auditing can help. The goal is also to find career opportunities from your studies. I suggest reading 3 recent published theses or dissertations from your college related to accounting to see what worked. Ask your supervisor for guidance.

Very interesting research, only that we have suffered with the insertion of technology into accounting and missed the control method by cardboard cards or a file printed on paper, among other reasons because digitization works as long as there is electricity and the networks or the system installed work, otherwise, no way, luck.
