I am looking at the predictors of a condition which was repeatedly measured at 3 timelines (0, 3, and 6 months). I first conducted a GEE analysis to predict severe cases during the first six months. Then, I performed another GEE model from 3-6 months only as certain IVs were only repeatedly measured at 3 and 6 months. Then I added another model including IVs and DVs measured from 0 to 3 months.
So now there are three models
Model 1: 0-3 months
Model 2: 3-6 months
Model 3: 0-6 months
Results showed one variable that was statistically significant in model 3 but not in model 1 and 2. How would you interpret that?
