I'm working on a project related to entomopathogenic fungi (EPF). I isolated EPF from individuals belonging to the species in photographs taken with a binocular stereo microscope. Can you help me with the taxonomy of the species that act will be discussed in the article I will write after the study?

I'm not an expert but i have been studying Carabid beetles during my study 30 years ago so i'm a bit rusty. But it looks like an Harpalus species or similar genus to me.
I have an idea, but before I give my opinion, can you tell me where the beetle was caught and its size in mm?
It's look like Pseudoophonus rufipes (Harpalini), and if i was in France, it 'll be ok but with out localisation... it's tricky.

This is a Pseudoophonus in the strict sense. The most likely species is Pseudoophonus rufipes. However, I have not managed to find a complete checklist of carabidae species in Turkey or the biogeographical region within a reasonable time. The criterion used to distinguish the 2 species of Pseudoophonus (griseus vs rufipes) is the shape of the lower corners of the pronotum, (in a straight line in the former, with a slight but constant constriction in the latter). This is Pseudophonus griseus Panz. Abdominal sternites at points in the middle.
