Hi Most what you have is Penicillium and Aspergillus and Cladosporium and maybe Fusarium. Also, I recommended you to mack a slid for all the fungi to show the shape of the spores.

Hello! the green one looks Aspergillus, be careful to manage Aspergillus wearing a properly mask.

The blue colony with white edges is characteristically Aspergillus fumigatus. As most of them are environmental saprophytes, their identification should not be limited to morphology.

Actually I prefer you use stain, view on microscope and consult fungal atlas

Hi Carling. I recommend that you first isolate each of these cultures on its own plate. Once you are confident that each culture is pure, that is a single organism, you should make note of the colony morphology and prepare slides for microscopic analysis. Additionally, if you have access to a molecular lab, from these pure cultures you can extract DNA, amplify a barcode gene region, and sequence it for an identification. Sequencing is a great way to obtain a confident species-level identification without having a deep background in morphological taxonomy. I hope this helps!!

Hi I recommend that you subculture these isolate in other to get a pure culture before staining and microscopy. You can further extract DNA for molecular characterization.

Extracting the DNA for molecular characterization will be a more reliable means of identification. But however by careful observation of those pix , they look like Aspergillus and fusarium species

I think the fungi on the plate are and Aspergillus, Penicillium and Cladosporium

first, u must reculture from any one of these fungi to get a pure culture.

then do microscopic tests.
