In children I have come across over the years with SIADH, they are usually referred to the eurises clinic, when the child under goes scans of the bladder & kidneys, to check if there is a medical reason such as a small bladder, this can effect the child emotionally, this is were medicaltion and bladder training take place.

However if there is no physical reason as to why, then there is usually a strategy put in place to support the child. Sometimes a child will feel that this is the only control in their life’s, in this instance it takes a lot of time to help the child things that they can control in a less damaging way. This can relate to an early life adverse childhood experience.
