I would like to know whether I can use 'temporal bracketing' to make sense of my cross-sectional data which looks at how founders build their founding teams and ventures. Since their descriptions are event and time-driven, it made sense to use this method, but when I refer to relevant papers (i.e. Langley, 1999; Langley et al. 2013; Kirshnan et al. 2020, etc.) they have worked with longitudinal data.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
