Can we use the UV from gel doc to do sterilization?

Is it possible to put something in gel doc for UV sterilisation (e.g. 15 minutes) instead of a biological safety cabinet?

I once opened the door of a faulty gel doc and accidentally saw the intensity of UV in it, it should be more or on par with a biological safety cabinet. Is it possible to use that for sanitise things like electroporation cuvette in an enclosed transparent bag?
