Hi,
Previously I worked on combustion engines....
But now due to my new adviser, i want to work on nanotechnology...
I want to work on a subject that relates to both nano and engine ...
Do you have any suggestion?
Regards
Good professor
Nanotechnology is also very interested area for research....... The lot of things have for learn and developing our knowledge so keep it up....
do well congratulations
Here is some article which can help you
Nano technology have a wide area of applications depend on the industry and problem.
for example i can introduce some applications of nano technology in I.C. engine :
1- Using nano materials in improvement of lubricating oils and extend the lubricating oil change intervals.
2- Using nano materials in fabrication process of parts and ... for improvement of mechanical and chemical properties
3- Using nano to improve the ignition and compression characteristic of fuel in engine and so on...
1. Addition of nanoparticles in base fuel to improve performance and emission.
2. Addition of nanoparticle in cooling water to improve heat transfer properties.
3. Addition of nanoparticle in lubricating oil to improve lubrication process.
4. Nanocoating to improve thermal behavior.
5. Developing new material using nanocomposites etc etc etc...
