Yes we can use like Matlab but only we can write input data for 60 lines for free version in EES software

I mean that Can I write a program in EES and use it in matlab as a function? NOT writing function in EES
The solution depends on the question effort versus speed. Do you look for a quick solution executed rarely or do you look for a professional solution as required for optimisations?
Matlab can call EES function in different ways.
- per call to EES (command) and interpretation of the output generated by $EXPORT command
- By DDE
- By direct linkage of the dll, containing the function

I don't exactly understand your explanations and methods
As we use matlab functions: input variables>>> output result from a function, for example:
[z1,z2]=func(x,y)
I want to use an EES program as a function in matlab to do a multi-objective optimization
For example i want to give P and T and get efficiency and cost
How can i do that?
I'm prefer to convert the functions ( that integrated in EES) such as enthalpy vs. temp. or density vs. pressure as a polynomial functions , and then use them in Matlab.
Multi-objective optimization and linking matlab and EES for various optimization methods is not problem anymore. I used DDE to link EES and matlab and it worked well. I tried different optimization methods such as GA, PSO , ... for a simple Brayton Cycle optimization. https://www.kelaas.com/035
