I am doing a project on measurement of temperature at 7 distinct points on a work piece during MIG. I have some idea , that the noises induced by the electromagnetic force between electrodes causes error in reading. Can i know how to eleminate that?
Maybe you could use a little bit glue or/and adhesive tape or/and drilling tiny holes on your metal sheets for the thermocouples.
We have used K type thermocouple for measuring temperature during welding.

You can. Prepare appropriate holes in parent plates for accommodating thermocouples. Many researchers have successfully recorded using this.
