Numerous literature on this subject is available online. The only thing is avoid Vat dyes when doing photocatalytic experiments.

Dear Collin, you have any reference about why no use vat dyes?

No references, just personal experiences. Vat dyes are not water soluble. It just disperses in water. It is possible to photocatalytically degrade it (with higher UV-A intensity required) but sample extraction will have to be done using a centrifuge instead of a syringe filter.
