Hi,

As mentioned in my question, I have a design with several categorical independent variables and one dependent variable that can have only 3 levels/values: 0; 0.5; or 1. I started analyzing my data with classical ANOVAs but a reviewer pointed that the assumption of a continuous dependent variable was violated in my case (and suggesting to rely on logistic regressions).

Any thought about this issue would be very helpful - whether I can use ANOVAs or not. Is there a minimum number of levels to use ANOVAs?

Thank you very much!
