A better way to describe this situation of "seeing the future" is estimating what will be on the basis of past experience, and a "deja vue" condition that explains the present on the basis of what happened in the past. Presently, the "wisdom of the crowd" can predict sometimes future events.

I don't know about deja vu, but from an academic standpoint you have econometrics and other mathematical modellings which attempt to make predictions. However, they are only as accurate as the people who create and use them.

Yes, it is true that you can sometimes dream of something and experience it in your real life. Also, I feel sometimes that I have seen earlier what is happening now.

I would say may be we can’t see but can predict or make a guess based on our experiences and knowledge. Sometimes this feeling is so strong that when we see something happening we think that we had already knew this or had seen this earlier

I see the future always. But it's nothing special.

I predict through drive, desire and motivation-unfortunately other people see things differently.

If you live under normal conditions, you can probably determine the future of the next day a little more reliably - within your own circle of life. We have much bigger problems with the past. If it wasn't like our ego or our self-esteem would like to see this past, then our consciousness is used to correct the past for our good.

The future is placed behind us and the past is in front.

We can't see the future unless we are flexible enough to turn our heads...the angle makes a difference and the past is in front of us fading in the distance......ancient wisdom.

Based on the previous experiences we can predict somethings which are in our control but you predict about some things which are under the control of a nature, I think it's impossible, like no one can say what would happen tomorrow with my life. Do prediction is only on controlled things which you have experienced before.

The fact that one's own death is certain can be seen as an ability to know one's own future. But there are also facts of the near or distant future that will very probably occur. You normally have no interest at all in getting to know them better, be it that you don't want to burden yourself with evil, be it that you want to be surprised by good things. To want to know one's own future is indeed a humanly understandable motive for action, from which one, having become wise with increasing age, will turn away again in the long run.

As far as your own future prediction is concerned obviously whatever you want to pursue in future it is based on your own desires and we can definitely turn our own dreams to reality if we are determined. yes we can see or predict our future if this way fulfills your query. Because what do you want to see in your future, you can do that.

There are articles calling it Extra Sensory Perception (ESP); I however, feel it is just our forethought and mental preparation, which enables us to foresee a happening prior to its occurance. Continued production and increasing wealth will guarantee smaller families and higher divorce rates for those of other nations (as it has done for the west) in the future. But these things will not cause great suffering as our material well-being will be more secure.

Schooling will grow less rigorous. Grades for younger students will disappear completely. Classroom education will shift its focus from what the society imagines a child needs to know, to what the child wants to know. And if the child doesn't want to know much at all, he won't be made to learn much beyond the basics.

Internationally, the nations will move toward One-World-Government in an effort to end war and promote peace. This will not have the desired result.

SubSaharan Africa will enjoy a population boom which will mean most of the large animals will disappear. People will not tolerate lions and elephants in their back yards. We will morn their loss, but in a generation they will be forgotten. Lions once roamed southern Europe, and the Europeans don't cry today because they are no longer there.

Times will be good and the people then will look back at us as somewhat poor and primitive. There will be fewer diseases and fewer accidental deaths. People will live longer and play more. They will be more narcissistic, with males and females spending more time and money dying their hair and wearing make up to look young.

It will be a Golden Age.

Though the conservatives will weep over the lost virtues of the past, as they always do.

And those virtues will return, when production declines, people get poorer, and things grow harder.

We are liberal when we can be, and conservative when we must be.
