In cancerous some cells of the organ are normal and some are abnormal, so if we can detect these abnormal cells depending on the genotype, then we can find a way to eradicate specifically the cancer cells especially in leukemia
Genotyping will permit to differentiate cancer cells from normal cells. This is the basic feature of almost all the research in cancer going on nowadays.
I do not think there is a difference in genotype between normal and cancerous cells, but I think there are biomarkers differences. I think the main cause of cancer is differences in gene expression between normal and cancer cells
