Comparing total phenolic content in fresh edamame and dried edamame
NO you should not apply maths in such cases. Do it experimentally.
Dear Fauziah
For which purpose do you want to calculate the content in 10% moisture content? I think it is not necessary!
But if you want to express your result on a dry basis, just divide your value by the dry matter of sample (0.36).
Regards!

Dear Ghosh and Nobosse,
Thanks for the advice :) .. I just want to know differences phenolic content between mature soybeans (moisture content about 10%) and immature soybeans but I just have phenolic content of fresh immature soybean data in fresh condition (64% wb).
Well you need to find it out yourself by doing the wet lab analysis. it may or may not be the same as published by other authors.
Instead of checking only the mRNA level, I want to check the active protein level of MMP-1 in Liver tissue from mice. How can I do that?
