Good morning Rajpal. TLC "Thin Layer Chromatography" only works with true solutions, and not with colloidal solutions. Colloidal solutions are constituted by macromolecules (polysaccharides, polyphenols, proteins,...), in solution in a polar solvent (e.g., water). The macromolecules are "linked" to the solvent molecules by Van der Waals forces or other weak forces. These macromolecules in such a solution can't be separated by thin layer chromatography.
