The problem will be how long the plates last before they dry out. Generally at room temperature I would think they would be good for a week or so, but if there is a lot of air flow or if the air is very dry, possibly less.
My experience has always been to store the plates at room temp for 1-2 days and then put them in storage bags and in the refrigerator. Freshly poured plates will get lots of condensation in the fridge but if you dry them 1-2 days then it is much reduced.

When we want to store the media for a long time, we must prepare slants for growing microorganisms such as fungi and not pour the media in the plates.
I would store it room temperature for max two days and then in the fridge in a sealed bag.
Hi Zongyun. I used to keep my plates at room temperature for 1.5-2 days after pouring . Then, I will store them at a cold room in sealed plastic bags, making sure the lid is facing downwards. Good luck!
