Can the E. coli DH5alpha grow in the chromocult agar (merck)?

I want to confirm my E. coli DH5alpha stock before transformation procedure. I have already inoculated it to the EMB agar, but there was no growth. But, I'm not sure about my EMB agar stock, so i want to confirm again in chromocult agar.
