I read in a previous post that a member washes and reuses his counting slides used for the Bio-Rad TC20 cell counter. Can someone provide a methodology used to wash the slides for reuse?
I am not referring the machine itself. I am referring to the slides used to count the cells. A research gate member previously mentioned that he cleans the slides and then reuses them. I am aware that the manual says that the slides cannot be cleaned.
You can use 37 C incubater to make drying process faster. We use that method. Also if you didn't "immediately" wash the slides and there is adherent cells you can use tyripsin as well.
There is a great device now available from www.imraliinvention.com - its an automated slide cleaning and drying system. Really easy to use, great results - fantastic for improving sustainability in your lab
