I suggest human blood if it is permissible in your procedure. Much easier to get hold of.
True, it's easy to get human blood from banks than horse blood !
Go to a local veterinarian or vet school and ask for a sample. Most are happy to collaborate. You may need an IACUC protocol though.
why not go to slaughterhouse? You can get enough blood as you want, maybe should pay a little money. Another possible place is racecourse. May it help you.
