More specifically, I want the comparison in wavenumber-based power spectra, opposed to frequency-based. That would include converting multiple signals into a cross spectrum, finding the phase, and then the final conversion to wavenumber.
Extra points if it is in the field of plasma physics and magnetic signals.

In my quest to answer this question I found some good resources and published my own research. I highly recommend "Wavelet spectra compared to Fourier spectra" by Valérie Perrier et al. They provide an excellent mathematical breakdown of the subject, which I then use on experimental data, which I will post when it becomes available.
