I am interested in finding information regarding the historical use of mycorrhizal fungi in agriculture. I am having some difficulty finding this type of material. If you would be so kind as to refer me to some helpful literature I would greatly appreciate it.
Do you mean ectomycorrhizae or endomycorrhizae? I think the answers may differ a little depending. When I began working on mycorrhizae in the early 1980s, the use of ectomycorrhizae in reforesting was pretty common, but the encouragement of endomycorrhizae in agricultural crops or nurseries was still considered a new thing. I'll try to think of some literature, but if you narrowed it down, it would help.

Even there are more than 10 papers on AM fungi and agriculture in my profile. You can go through these. These could be definitely helpful.
Nina Shishkoff I was looking for a general overview of their use, but now that you mention it I would be more interested in the use of endomycorrhizae as it pertains more closely to my thesis. If you have any information in regards to this, I would greatly appreciate it.
